A Message of Hope….
The past year has been a year of difficulty and despair for many people. Often it seems that when we are discouraged, or when doors keep closing instead of opening, we tend to lose hope. Our message to you is that there is always hope! And we dedicate this page to all of you who need encouragement, who need hope…this is for you!
We all face hardships in life; problems that challenge us, that seem to turn our world upside down. The weight of unemployment and financial difficulties can be overwhelming. In our own office, we have been dealt the blow of a cancer diagnosis, and have walked the hard journey through chemotherapy treatment and all that comes with a fight against cancer. Whatever your worry, the important thing to remember is that you must keep a positive and hopeful attitude. And while it may not seem possible, there is a purpose for whatever trials we face.
It’s good to know when life looks like it has gone haywire. There’s precious little comfort in the midst of chaotic circumstances. When a loved one lies dying, when unemployment hits home, when children are rebelling, when cancer is diagnosed – all of the things that attack our sense of well-being are on a divine leash. When everything is falling apart and our peace is being threatened, we can know one rock-solid fact. There’s a purpose. A divine purpose, and we must learn to trust that all things work together for the good of those who love God.
Even in the most dire of circumstances, it is crucial that we remember that we each have power over our lives. Our power lies deep within us, we are born with it, and it is our job, our responsibility, to take back our power when things are bleak. We must remember that our power is what can give us hope. We are not helpless to any situation if we can remember that we have control over our response to any situation. We may not have control of what happens to us, but we always have control of how we respond to something.
So how do we do t his? How do we find that inner power and use it to better our circumstances, our lives? First, we must remember that we have it! And then, with that knowledge, we can take the first baby step toward bettering our situation…whatever that step may be…the important thing is that we are STRIVING toward the positive.
What generates the power within us? Gratitude. A grateful person is a powerful person. All abundance in life is based on being grateful for what we have, for things just as they are. There is power in today, and there is enough in today. We must remember that our power comes from knowing that everything is all right and everyone is unfolding exactly as they are supposed to.
Keep your hope alive by being grateful for today, and by remembering that there is purpose in all of the events of our lives – divine purpose. And keep hope alive by knowing that out of darkness comes light, out of bad comes good….and remembering this is the first step toward toward a better tomorrow.
